About Me and the site

Hello All

I will start with my nickname Evil Ed. When I was in high school I had spiky hair before it was even a style. Then the movie Fright Night came out. There was an actor with hair just like mine. Can you guess what his name was? That's right, Evil Ed. Well it didn't take long for my friends to start calling me Evil Ed or Evil. The name just stuck, so I started using it for a screen name and stuff.

I started playing paintball back in 1991. My brother-in-law had bought some pump guns for friends to use and got himself a Vm-68. Back then we used to play once maybe twice a year because it was to much cash for me back then. Around 1993 I got a good job and bought that Vm off my brother-in-law and started to play monthly.

The Vm was for the most part is stock except for a back bottle adapter. It wasn't until  1998 that I started to upgrade the gun. That's when I started to read all I could on the Vm, but there was no one place that had all the information I was looking for. Don't get me wrong  there where some very good sites to go to, but you had to jump for site to site to get all the information you were looking for. Plus each site had maybe 5-10 pictures of custom Vm's. The sites didn't get updated to often and if you E-mailed the host about something, you were lucky if you got an answer back at all. (Again, not all the site) So in Dec. of 1999 I started a small site of mostly custom Vm pictures. I didn't know what I was doing (still don't hehe). Soon I started to add things like the mods section and so on. Then the V.M.O.G. site went away and people started telling me that I was the new V.M.O.G. I liked the sound of that so I bought a book on how to use Front Page and started to improve the site. So I went around the net and snagged anything I could find about the Vm like articles, mods, pictures etc., giving credit to the original site that I got it from. For when the V.M.O.G. went away there was some good information that was lost. Each time I learned something new I changed the site. (If you look under the title Vm Empire you will see " V 1.5" that means I have change the look or structure of the site 5 times.) With each new version the site (I hope) gets a little better. I try to update the site when ever I can and I try to answer E-mail daily, so I don't become what I didn't like about the old site, most of which are gone now.

Well that's about it. Thanks for taking the time to read this.     Evil Ed
