Power feeder review

When I first hared of the power feed for the Vm I had never
really had any problems with ball feeding with my any of Vm's ,but after
reading what the power feeder was suppose to do I run out and picked it up.
The first one I got was made by Taso witch is a good name for Vm parts .The
second one I got was a Pro Shot this one came with a Vm I picked up . This
review is based on these two products.
The power feed is suppose to stop ball from getting blown
back up into the hopper from excise air it's suppose to Rica shay the
paintball off the top of the power feed and back into the breach for a
faster loading of the paintball .
This can't happen in a Vm ! The problem is with a real power
feed the next ball is vertically on top of the ball in the breach ,so when
the ball gets blown up to Rica shy the ball all so gets help from gravity
because the ball is only moving straight up an down .
The two power feeders that I have the next ball sits roughly
at a 45 degree angle from the ball in the breach and the 3rd ball in line is
at roughly another 45 degree angle so you lose a lot of the gravity since
the 2nd ball is in a corner so to speak that all the balls must turn witch
slows them down .I have had so many feed problems with power feeds and no
problems with the stock feeder that has a nice smooth turn for the balls to
flow though to the breach and has a nice three to four balls stacked
vertically on top of one another so gravity helps out nicely
So in my opinion stay the hell away from power feeders if
you can help it. But if you have to have one and you got the time to do a
lot of fine tuning you can get it to work ok.
